Hi, I’m Cynthia. I have been a biz opp junkie ever since I was a teenager. Sadly, I’ve spent more money than I care to admit on “junk” and scams. Now that I’m online, I find that a lot of the junk I used to buy has just moved online. New venue, new names and faces, but the same rip off mentality.
I’ve been online about 9 years, not as a marketer until very recently, but mainly as a consumer – buying all the different make money products, then internet marketing specific products. There are some great marketers that I’ve found, and others not so great. I want to alert people to those internet markters out there who offer great products, and warn people about those who try to get their hands in our wallets – who could care less if we get any value out of their product or not.
The first magazine I ever subscribed to was “Consumer Reports” (I was 16). When other girls my age were using their allowance money to subscribe to fashion magazines to find out “what was hot & what was not,” I was reading about why one product was or was not worth your money. I loved CR’s unbiased reviews and the fact that they wouldn’t allow advertisers to “buy” a good review. And I’ve been a consumer advocate my entire life, so I’m not shy about saying what I think.
I’m also not one to pay full price for something I can get for less. My friends call me “frugal” and I’m fine with that title. So I will be sharing products that I find that are cheaper than the ones that are getting all the buzz – but are comparable or do the same things.
Feel free to ask for reviews of products you’ve bought or are thinking about buying and I’ll do a “Consumer Reports” style video review. Unlike most internet marketers out there, I don’t endorse products unless I’ve actually used them myself. Maybe that’s naive or not business savvy. Life’s too short & my integrity is more important to me than making a buck.
